Lindsay Malhotra, MSW, LCSW, LCDC, PSS
Lindsay Malhotra is a dedicated professor at the University of Texas at Arlington’s School of Social Work, blending her academic expertise with a passion for community issues and public policy. With a Masters of Social Work degree from UTA and licensure as both a Clinical Social Worker and Chemical Dependency Counselor, her career began at UT Southwestern, where she worked with pregnant and parenting women battling substance use disorders.
Since joining Nexus in 2018, she has played a pivotal role in leading programs like the Intensive Outpatient Program, Recovery Support Services, and the Generations programs, all of which have thrived under her leadership.
Lindsay is also actively involved in her community, serving on several boards and participating in Engage Dallas. Her diverse roles reflect her commitment to personal growth, recovery, and community empowerment, making a lasting impact through her work.
